Many thanks for the set of straps you supplied for our Ercol settee ordered 8th December and received Xmas Eve.
They were all delivered made up using my dimensions taken as you advised and I fitted them on Boxing Day in the peace and quiet of post Xmas Day family feasting. It’s quite sobering to ensure correct fitting and finding reserves of post alcohol strength to tension each strap!!
The advice contained on your web site on how to make the measurements and fit the straps was very clear and useful particularly to people like me who know nothing about upholstery.
My wife is a committed Ercol fan as her father worked all his life at Ercol retiring in the late 1970’s as Production Manager so our various items of Ercol furniture are much valued for family sentiments. We will have no hesitation in coming to you to supply replacement straps for our other Ercol chairs which I plan to do in 2011.

Firstly I really want to congratulate you all for your prompt attention to the orders you receive, over the internet. I placed my order on Sunday night & by Wednesday morning my order was delivered--- nothing less than excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So that makes me have faith that there are still companies out there that run a good business.
To my second & last point, the chair straps are brill, just the same as the orginal straps that are on two, now very aging "Rocking Chairs" they are in fact owned by my 89 year old mother, who bought the chairs back in the 60's(I think) she loves the rocking chair she uses every afternoon for her "nap" after her lunch. The straps had almost worn out, she had pieces of cardboard under her cushions, and was asking me to cut some pieces of wood to replace the cardboard, but I told her it would be very hard to sit on. Thats when I decided to try & find New Straps, so hurray for companies such as yours, as I did'nt think I had much hope.
She's now a very happy woman, & hopefully will now have many more happy snoozes on her rocking chair. Keep up the good work.

My 89 year old father was getting a bit agitated about his Ercol Sofa (he doesn't have much to worry about!) and was very impressed with the end result. Thanks for the fast delivery of the Pirelli bands. I fitted them to my parents chair yesterday (perfect fit) and they were amazed - their 30-year-old chair is as good as new. I had anticipated just stapling webbing across, I didn’t know the exact same bands would be still available. Thanks for your help in this, you’ve made an 87 and 85 year-old couple very happy.
